The Associated General Contractors of Oklahoma-Building Chapter presented Build Oklahoma Awards, representing the “Best of the Best” commercial and industrial projects in 2013. AC Owen Construction had a winner with the Midwest City Swim and Slide!

Last night at the CLC-AGC Volunteer Night at the Oklahoma Regional Food Bank, fun was had by all as Volunteers bagged 6,076 lbs of squash (5,063 meals) to feed hungry families in Oklahoma.
Congratulations to the Oklahoma City CLC-AGC for being the most productive baggers – beating out Tulsa’s CLC-AGC! …just saying.

Over 675,000 Oklahoman’s will wake up today and wonder where their next meal will come from. Oklahoma ranks among the top five states in the nation in the number of people who are hungry, but thanks to donors, volunteers and advocates, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma is “Fighting Hunger…Feeding Hope.”
This will be a competition between OKC and Tulsa to see who can sort the most pounds of food per hour. Come out and support your city!
Families and children are welcome to attend. If any attendee is under the age of 18 they will need to fill out and submit a consent form on arrival.
