2019 Build Oklahoma Award Winner!

We are so excited to have won, not one, but TWO Build Oklahoma Awards from the AGC of Oklahoma for work done in 2019! Keep reading to see what projects won!

Mustang Town Center Renovation Expansion: Up to $5 Million Institutional Winner

A community health and fitness center expansion to better accommodate the needs of  a growing town. Project components include multiple basketball gymnasiums, indoor elevated running track, classrooms, multi-purpose space and aerobic and yoga facilities. Project also included improvements for facility ADA access and accommodations. The elevated indoor track tied into the existing track at the new opening that was created. The facility also used a high quality “recycled” sports flooring product which helped keep the project eco-friendly.

The project was an addition to an existing Town Center which houses the municipal library, banquet hall and original fitness center. The areas surrounding the facility are the municipal pool as well as the soccer and baseball facility. Needless to say, this was a very safety sensitive site that was compact in nature. The entire site was very active and the project management staff delivered a beautiful project to the community in a successfully safe manner.

Level Three Canopy Project Tulsa International Airport: Up to $5 Million Industrial Winner

Three separate projects for the Tulsa International Airport. Projects included Ticketing, Canopies and Exit Lane.

Canopies: The Tulsa Airport was struggling with finding parking spaces on the “land locked” facility, upon a quick discovery period it was found that the top floor of the parking garage was being used due to lack of shade and weather protection. This project provided structure improvements, electrical and lighting upgrades and shade structures for the top floor of the parking garage that created almost 500 new “usable” parking spaces without having to use more land.
